The Alabaré Firewalk

Are you brave enough? Would you like to build mental strength and have a huge sense of achievement? Or would you like to build self-belief and prove to others how fearsome you are? If so join us at the Alabaré Firewalk.

Alabare Firewalk
The ultimate motivational fundraising evening.
Triumph by walking barefoot over hot coals to support the homeless and vulnerable.
Push your self-belief to the limit, as we all support you

Each year at Alabaré we support around 2,000 people who need our help because they are either homeless, vulnerable or need support to live active lives as independently as they can. We want to make sure we are always here for those who need us, but to do so must raise at least £1.6 million pounds each year.  Your walk will help enable us to be here for those in need.

How does it work:

Whatever your motive this is a truly breathtaking opportunity to challenge yourself and push your self-belief to the limit! Although not for the faint-hearted we will be with you every step of the way (no pun intended) providing you with quality training from Time for Change ahead of the public event where friends and family will be on hand to cheer you on. Once you have mastered the decision to not let fear inhibit your actions there really is nothing stopping you. And once you have mastered this sense of empowerment what else will you achieve?

With a long history going back centuries across cultures around the world, isn’t it time you experienced this ultimate test of faith?

So, get together with a loved one, workgroup, or friends and together, we can build brighter futures for the homeless and vulnerable.

We encourage all participants to pledge to raise a minimum of £100 per person.

All participants must be 16 years of age or older on the date of the event. Those aged 16-18 must have a parent/guardian consent form to take part (this will be emailed to you) and attend with a registered adult.

I’m really pleased to be raising money for Alabaré, a fantastic charity. It’s really nice to be supporting a charity working hard in my own area.

Our history

Alabaré was founded out of the simple act of providing a place of shelter and safety to help one homeless man, Bob. Today, it remains our goal to help people who are vulnerable build bright futures, homes and minds for themselves.
